Chris Cantell Discusses Technologies: $25,000 for the best writer

It was great news for all who have ambitions to become writers and to release their own novel. Amazon.com, Penguin group and Hewlett-Packard have organized a competition to find the best unpublished novel. It's called Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award and it can be a chance for all good writers. Of course only one will be the best. Since October 8, 2007 authors could submit their novels for consideration on Amazon.com. At first it was read by Amazon.com Top reviewers and by the professionals from Penguin Group.However Amazon.com always put a great deal to voice of it's customers, so it's not a surprise the final result which novel and author are the best depends only on them. At the end the ten finalists will be selected and the winner will be announced on April 7, 2008. Author of the best novel will receive contract to publishing with Penguin Group, $25,000 and valuable gifts from Hewlett-Packard Corp such as HP Pavilion notebook, HP Photosmart digital camera or HP 50-inch plasma TV. According the success of the contest Amazon and Penguin will consider to make the contest annual."The books connect people, change lives, inspire, inform and entertain," said Susan Petersen Kennedy, president of Penguin Group (U.S.). "We're delighted to be a part of a competition that brings writers and readers together."
