Chris Cantell Discusses Technologies: Innovations of Apple
by Martina Harvanova
An apple, the name of the most common sort of fruit. Apple Inc., the name of the most successful business in PC development. The first one reminds us the other one. Both are seductive, easy to get, simple to use and both have been created to make the time enjoyable. If you are thinking, what this is going to be about, you're right. Supposedly, you are considering Apple Inc.At The MacWorld Conference in San Francisco on Tuesday, Jan15th, Apple showed its hottest innovations and suggestions together with the expectations for the next fiscal year. Although they didn't disappoint the computer literate public, anything groundbreaking wasn't introduced and the announcements aren't likely to dazzle. While considering the Apple's range of goods iPod still remains the most demanded item in all its types: shuffle, nano, classic, touch as well as iPhone, the newest and among youngsters the coolest product. Novelties are MacBook and Apple TV. The first mentioned looks like a regular laptop except of one small difference. Its slim appearance classes MacBook to the tiniest PC in the world. The Apple TV means, on the other side, a device named set-top-box that combines Mac and PC with wireless internet connection. Another innovation that is predicted to be Apple's number one, but maybe not yet this year, is movies. Correctly, the deal is renting various movies online at iTunes store. The mediation of multimedia to your computer and television will cost $3, 99 for a movie available for 24 hours. As the analysts claim, Apple isn't certainly going to top the year 2007. The company has targeted sales of 10 million of its iPhones to the end of this year, though. The intention of Apple is clear, a want to become the world's leader in providing hardware and software appliances. Its market growth speaks of itself. Almost seven years after the release of iPod, the market capitalization has changed from $6 to $155 billion. Convincing numbers.
