This year 108-inch LCD TV from Sharp

The fans of giant and in the same time thick LCD televisions have one more thing to look forward this year. The Sharp corp. electronic maker from Japan will bring the brand new 108-inch wide LCD TV. It's the largest LCD ever and at the first sight it's just amazing. It was introduced at the traditional Consumer Electronics Show (CES), take place every year in Las Vegas, Nevada and it's the industry's U.S. largest trade show. Each January the World's greatest producers of electronic introduce or announce their new products. The Sharp corp. belongs to the Worldwide Top 20 Semiconductor Sales Leaders, and in Britain is known also among the football fans due to the fact the company sponsored The Manchester United F.C. during it's very successful period from 1983 to 2000. May be fewer people know it was established in 1912 and the name of company was inspired by one of it's first inventions Ever-Sharp mechanical pencil. The second news was declared at a news conference. Sharp has developed the 65-inch wide and only 1-inch thick TV with liquid crystal display. Moreover it weights 23 percent less than the previous models. This TV is only prototype yet, and it's not known when the sale will begin. The Sharp corp. deals not only with LCD TV or with TV in general. It's sphere of activity include almost everything from the microwave ovens and mobile phones to the solar panels and flash memory. In the 2006 Sharp developed humanoid robot which takes plates from the table after meal and puts them into the dishwasher. Actually to the Sharp's rivals belongs companies such as Sony, JVC, Samsung or LG-Philips LCD.
