Chris Cantell Discusses Technologies: Google in trouble?
by Silvia Szarkova

Have you ever experienced that supported links with ads that come to your way whenever you are surfing on the Internet? And you like them, don't you? Maybe, you can't stand them, maybe you have managed to find there something really interesting, maybe something you had sought for, but you should know, there is a big business behind them! Google is more than just a word-or anything else finding system. Google Inc. can call out a great debate on Wall Street! As it has made some changes recently on how to generate the clicks, there were loud debate on Thursday if Internet search companies are able to adapt to new circumstances, especially if their revenue will be influenced as quickly as the changes happened. According to comScore Inc. which released data immediately after closing the market on Wednesday, Google's click-though rate has almost ground to a half. In February it notes increase of 3 percent in comparison to February 2007, but there were no change in January and few months before the end of the year 2007 there were observed an slowing compared to a year before. Data revealed on Wednesday confirmed the continuing slowing tendency of Google's click-through rate. Google receive payments when users click on sponsored advertisements which appear as a result of a search. The company has recently reported steadily rising of a revenue matched to a simply click, but yesterday refused to comment any of the facts released by comScore Inc. Google is going to report earnings for first quarter 2008 in April, 17. Some also say, that comScore numbers are more likely to mistakes and can't be taken as serious prediction, as they have a wide range of plus or minus limits, and are often considered just as a sample. So anytime you meet these ads, don't hesitate and check some of them, don't forget- there is a big business behind them.
