China will not give in
by Claudia Sonea

Chinese people are hard working, intelligent and creative. In spite of the communist regime and all the difficulties that they went through, they will not give up and with every generation the desire to be successful, to make from China a suitable rival for US is stronger. Nowadays there is a new class of entrepreneurs that Chinese government hopes will be pointed out by the Olympics.
It is well known that China has a reputation as being cheap and anonymous when it comes to manufactures. The entrepreneurs mentioned in the beginning promise to make their country join the elite of consumers’ brand, to produce high end technology. All economists are in favor of this step out of anonymity in order to climb the economic ladder and reach the powerful UA which confronts with some issues too currently.
Aigo CEO Feng Jun is an example of such an entrepreneur, but he has the disadvantage of being educated in a communist way. By studying civil engineering at Beijing's Tsinghua University which is considered to be the starting point of communist technocrats, he cannot completely break from the old mentalities and he is rather an excellent business man rather than an inventor. He still needs the experience that many of his compatriots received abroad in the United States, Australia, in any country with a good reputation in high-end technology.
Although he started his company with $26, now Aigo is China's biggest producer of portable computer memory devices including the credit card-size 30-gigabyte unit. The digital cameras, portable media players and a digital microscope are just some of the products his company offer and Feng hopes the Olympics will help boost Aigo's brand abroad. The fate is not in his favor unless he comes up with something new like the iPhone or Samsung’s Instinct, because in this business saturated with products the winner is the one who offers something unique and useful. What would you say?
