Chris Cantell Discusses Technologies: Facebook to let users to transfer their profiles

New innovative changes have been introduced by Facebook few days ago. As we all know, Facebook is one of the world's largest and most favorite social networking website, which has been actively in operation since its launched on February 4, 2004. As its usual in every current social networks, Facebook gives its users an a chance to join networks organized by city, region, school eventually by workplace and communicate or share news with other people. The users are also allowed to add their friends, notify them about themselves, send different messages or update their personal profile. And exactly their profile has become an object of the innovation and it offers now more options. These changes were announced on Friday, May 9 and a very interesting fact is, that they were brought into the open just one day after the biggest competitor of Facebook, News Corporation's MySpace, had made an alike statement. Facebook, which has more than 70 million users all over the world, gave these people a much more easier possibility how to share their most favorite pictures, videos, music and any information with friends and a family anywhere on the Internet. According to future planes of Facebook, this social network site would like to allow its users to transfer their personal profiles to an arbitrary site, which wants to host them. In spite of this, MySpace is enabling this option just to a selected group of sites, for example to those, which are owned by Yahoo Inc. However, it is going to took several more weeks to make this option active.
