New technologies for drivers

Population already grows up with technology advantages and also is comfortable with it. “Researches also show, that technology makes life much more easier,” says Natalie Thompson, spokeswoman of AARP. It is connected also by the way of living and challenging lifestyle, which many people practice nowadays. In proportion as the human standards rise up, the technology and the surrounding must be adapted to the their exactions.
According to researches of U.S. Census Bureau, currently, 12.4 percent of the population is 65 or older, but by 2030, that percentage is projected to jump to 20 percent, or 71.5 million people. Many of those people wont give up the things they have been doing their whole life, just because they are getting old and are not available to manage doing things as they used to before. Technology for them is very useful. Especially for those, who like to drive a car.
It is natural, that as the people are getting older, they have more problems with their health. When it comes to driving, the biggest problem is, that they are starting to have vision problems. General Motors Corp. found out, how to abolish this problem and also brought new very helpful technologies to any driver at any age. They are working on windshield, that combines lasers, infrared sensors and a camera to take what is happening on the road and enhance it, so aging drivers with vision problems are available to see a little more clearly.
The new windshield will make objects stand out that could go otherwise unnoticed by an aged eye. As it has been already said, the new windshield does not help only aging drivers, but also to drivers of all ages. The technology will abbreviate also driving in foggy weather, it is also able to determine the position of the car in relation to the road and the other objects. Also if driver is speeding, when he is approaching to the speed limit the windshield will let him know about it.
Every day we are trying to make things easier and find out the ways how to simplify the acts we are doing every time. When our brain is not available to solve the problems as quick as we conceive it, there are the scientists, who are looking for new ways how to make our lives easier. In any area of life, they are searching for new concepts, how to do things quicker and better. This time it was done for drivers. And why? Because older adults are like adults of all ages, they just want to drive.
