According to statistics of failures in average, it seems that the amount between one quarter and third is caused by human failures. According to another quotes, human work is the most expensive work, therefor the world has set on the journey of mechanisation, literally in every aspect of our lives. I bet it won't take long and we will be able to drive a car without driving licence, because the car will be „smart“ enough to drive by itself. Sounds like a fiction? Not a way! Google has already tested a car able to drive on its own. It is using a technologies monitoring ongoing traffic and driving according defined rules. That according to Google meant the driver ! was free to eat or telephone while the car did all the work. And it seems that the experiment was successful, because the car was able to drive over 140,000 miles, get well with Californian huge traffic. But it is still in very experimental stages and certainly not prepared for mass production and sales. One can guess the price will climb really high. On one hand the idea of automatization of traffic seems to be positive if we count that about 1,000 000 traffica accidents happens only because of human failures. But on the other way it rise questions of safety. If a car is navigated via GPS or any kind of system and follows pre-defined rules there has to be a central system that monitors all vehicles. That also means the system can control the car and in the worst case cause the failure by itself. It can stop the car or let it fail. If there is a central system, the power transfers from the hands of a driver to the system that is vulnerable to hacker attacks. So far there ! have been data attacks on even the highest systems all over th! e world. So if a driver let the car drive by itself, he/she has to be aware that there is someone else driving the car.
