3D Tvs – not that breaking point in the U.S.

Although 3D TV sets were among top ten Japanese products that got the biggest sales in 2010, U.S. wasn't ready for that. The results come out after consumers simply avoid of buying new TVs during Christmas season. Decreasing demand was immediatelly reflected on markets were stocks of Best Buy Co dropped nearly 15 percent. Of course that angered investors who were seeking the explanation – why were the real numbers so different from perspective projections? Well it seems that it needs more than the razor thin screen to attract the customer. Some analysts say that many consumers have just bought their first flat widescreen and were not willing to buy another one. Not ev! en in the case it would be 3D. People were not just used to have this kind of watching experience – so for that reason the timing was wrong. The other reason may be also the fact people need 3D glasses to be able to watch – and while it is a funny, new experience for some, many people get dizzy wearing them for longer time. It is not natural to see blurry pictures all around. So far the largest U.S. electronics chain cut its full-year profit and become cautious towards 3D Tvs. But it maybe just for now. There is no doubt that a general demand and sales will increase after 3D broadcast will appear long enough in the movies. Cinemas have already been hitten by the wave of 3D movies and if film makers increase the number of movies based on this technology and eliminate traditional movies, there is no doubt people will get used to it and buy new types of TVs.
