What do you think, which computer was the first commercially successful one? I would think that was some piece made by Bill Gates and his company. But reality is a bit different. The first one was made by Apple and it was called Macintosh. Its started to sell in 1984 and it was really simple why it was so popular. The creators decided to use pictures instead of text and lines. For many people this was the right way how to learn to use personal computer. In 1990s when Microsoft started to be stronger than Apple expected, they were loosing, but now it seems that they can be stronger again. They produce MP3 players and cell phones, but the main scope are desktops and laptops. When you are watching Hollywood movies, which computer or laptop the main character has? Almost always its Apple. They are becoming more popular. They have very unique design. You can see that is Apple at the first sight. Round and elegant shapes, all the modern materials and colors. And bitten apple as a logo. The other thing is that Apple computers use their own operating system. Its called Mac OS and it contains a pack of special software which helps people to manage their files and programs, music player, text editor and of course web browser. All the same things you can use on your PC, but the controls and design are different. Yes Apple is beautiful and maybe safer, but still it is not as expansive as PC. So maybe we will see later what will happen.
