I am a huge rock fan. I always wanted to be a musician. I always wanted to be a guitarist. The guitar god. I wanted the whole world to forget about Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, Slash or Jimmy Page. I wanted to enlighten the world with the beauty and perfection of my riffs. The trouble was, I never became a guitar god. Actually, I never became a good guitar player. I was not even average. I was poor. I felt like I could not tame the guitar. The instrument was a boss, not me. I took some lessons. I tried really hard. But they wanted me to rehearse everyday! They wanted me to do weird finger exercises. They wanted me to play stupid chords and banal songs. They did not want me to play electric guitar. They wanted me to play trivial acoustic guitar. Do you know any guitar hero playing acoustic guitar? How can you rock when all you have is a hollow piece of wood and no electricity or distortion pedal? Moreover, they told me I had no musical ear. According to them I was out of tune all the time. They told me that just wearing like a rock star would never lead to be a rock prodigy. And then I got fired. Nowadays, I do have my own band. I'm a rock star. I am a guitar god. And I don't even have to practise. I just grab my guitar and it plays. All by itself. It's called Gibson Robot Guitar Generation XYZ.
