by Sandra Stoklaskova

Have you ever missed episode of your favorite show, because you were longer at work, or there was a traffic jam on your way home? I think this horrible thing happen to everyone, who is a fan of TV and movies. But now, there is a solution for us. There is a long term writers strike in US, actually, that caused that supply of major TV networks decreased during the last months. Even though, these TVs are trying to catch the attention of their viewers online. At the beginning you could see the episodes from ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC only on their own websites. However, these days there is a trend of streaming their episodes on different websites, so you can stumble on your favorite shows nearly anywhere on the Internet. This occurred due to the fact, that number of audience online is rocketing every day and Televisions would like to turn this to good account, certainly. Market research firm Horowitz Associates says, that number of broadband users who watched full shows online weekly doubled in 2007 from 8% to 16%, according to the article from USA TODAY, by Mike Snider. By this project TV networks want to improve TV audience commitment. It is dedicated mostly to viewers who missed their episodes, and nevertheless, would like to watch it. The list of top web sites include: Fancast.com, Hulu.com, Joost.com, MeeVee.com, Veoh.com, MySpace.com, Television.AOL.com and definitely tv.yahoo.com.
