Comcast apaising spirits Claudia Sonea

In October last year the bubble of Comcast Corp. burst out. Most of us remember that the Associated Press through nationwide tests exposed the fact that Comcast was blocking some file-sharing networks like eDonke, Gnutella and BitTorrent. Because its subscribers were outraged and the complaints started to pour in from groups and legal scholars the Federal Communications Commission started an investigation. All this issue hasn’t stopped Comcast from its activity. Life goes on after all, so next on their list is to add something new to the company. Of course the renewing has much to do with the accusations hanging above its head, that is why it decided to invest in GridNetworks, a startup offering high-definition video through file-sharing technology. The deal is meant to develop peer-to-peer file-sharing technology and is a part of the campaign starter by Comcast in order to cool spirits down. The country's second largest Internet service provider is working with and the Internet Engineering Task Force and other technology companies to develop the technology mentioned above. Not to mention that Comcast has been working with file-sharing companies to develop techniques that are beneficial to everyone. Even though Comcast justified its hampering as an attempt to offer better speed to their users, its subscribers weren’t happy about it, thus the company had to promise to end the interfering. This new deal revealed at the Cable Show in New Orleans is an attempt to show the cable company is really interested in changing its policy and techniques. But would that be enough to put an end to the federal investigation and unhappiness of consumers?
