by Michaela Vargova

This article offers reviews of three brand players mostly able to compete to iPod Nano.
The iPod Nano device has very appealing design, which combines slimness and simplicity of usage and has a crisp 2-inch LCD screen. Battery can handle 24 hours of audio. With such features Nano earns the first place in popularity of such technic gears.
The most appreciable attributes of players of a different brand are those, that compared to Nano, they look different, are generally cheaper and etc. Clearly, they are not perfect, but all of them apparently include a mountain of features and support multiple file types.
First of those player represents Iriver Lplayer: Lplayer costs about $100-$130. It has bijou design and disposes of a strong performance. The power of player is in his simplicity. It has 2-inch brigh screen. Better image quality would delight a user, but generally it is considers to be good enough. Lplayer comes with 4 or 8 gigabytes of flash memory storage. It also supports files in the "TXT" format. Battery handles 12 hours of music playback.
Sansa Fuze: The price flows somewhere between $80 and $130. It offers a plenty bright 1.9-inch display. Negative side of this player is fact that images do not look clear. The set of controls is made more traditional. The device is easier and faster to operate than the others. The flash memory capacity ranges from 2 to 8 gigabytes, but it lets user to expand it. Battery hold up to 24 hours of music playback.
Samsung YP-S3: Samsung's S3 costs about $100 and is available 4 gigabytes version. The design looks a little oddly. The device has a long, slim body. The 1.8-inch LCD is considered to be really good. A unique feature of S3 is a possibility of seeing information while listening to the FM. It also includes several games. The playback time is rated up to 25 hours of audio.
