AT&T Inc has decided to remove its unlimited pricing plan concerning new subscribers to its mobile data services. But, it plans to decrease prices for almost 98 percent of the customers. This news will be realized in four days. AT &T is the exclusive US provider for Apple Inc.’s iPhone. But, this news is not so nice to those you use their cell phones for web surfing – the more they would use it the more they would have to pay. That should be a normal thing, don’t you think? The biggest users of the AT&T’s services are going to pay at least $5 a month higher than before. As usually, whenever you have a situation when one technology guide makes a move! , than another one, its rivals, is expected to follow the same step, wanting to stay close to their Highness, the consumers. The experts expect that Verizon Wireless is the first company that would make that step next. But, their officials don’t want to comment a thing on that subject. But, not everyone is assured that this step is good if you see on long-term conditions. Analyst Craig Moffett, per instance, thinks that it is inevitable to lose a number of heavy users. "The low end price reduction for light users will reduce - but not eliminate - the inevitable firestorm of criticism from heavy users, who are certain to be the most vocal commentators," Moffett said. However, for the company, the most important measurement that shows that they work profitable is the average monthly revenue per user, on which, this new plan is not suppose to have a big influence. The new users that will decide to use AT&T services, for $15 a month, will have downloads of 200 megabytes ! of data – or with other words, about 400 web pages, 1,00! 0 e-mail s without attachments, posting 50 photos or 20 min. of video. Now, you see what suits you. If you don’t like it this, way, choose another operator. That’s so simple today.
