Nokia is back in the game with three new smartphones by Zivka Deleva

I believe you have all heard of the Hollywood blockbuster Young and Restless. This was the first association that came to my head when I read the news about Nokia’s plans about launching new models of smartphones soon. OK, the first part of the title doesn’t goes for Nokia, the company is not young, but I am completely sure that it is restless. Afraid of the competitiveness at the market of the telecommunication that nevertheless is led by Apple’s iPhone and Research in Motion’s BlackBerry, Nokia loudly and proudly announces not one but few models of smartphone to fight this giants in the telecommunication. But, to be honest, I don’t believe a ! lot in that. The consumers habits are very difficult to be changed, they are created very hardly, but don’t lose that easily. Apple’s master piece iPhone was like the invention of the electricity or maybe Alexander Bell’s invention of the telephone back at the end of the 19-th century. Someone would say that I exaggerate, but it comes like that. And for the irony to be bigger – Nokia is the leading company in producing cell phones and has the best operating system for smart phones, but still wasn’t smart enough to attract the audience with its previous models. However, at the last annual showcase conference, on which the leading CEO’s didn’t come, Nokia foreshadowed that three new models are going to be in front of the consumer’s army for this Christmas. "We've lost a little bit of the shine in our high-end devices. That's being solved today. We need to rebuild our brand, for sure" - Colin Giles, head of global sales said ". ! Let’s wait and see what will the winter bring to us, whe! ther Nok ia’s Santa is going to fulfill smartphone’s users expectations.
