Over 33,000 buyers signed up for GM electric car by Radka Konkolova

Nowadays when the price of oil and gas is very high, all of automakers want to produce a car which should use only electricity or hydrogen as a driving gear instead of traditional means of it. They can still invent something cataclysmal, but recently the biggest “invention” is hybrid engine. This means that the car is capable to use electricity as the main source, because such cars have got lithium-ion battery which sweeps the car for relatively long distances (about 100 km) and consumes almost none petrol. Then when the battery is off, the car uses petrol or gas and battery is charging that time (during the usage of gas) and after a while it is able to be the main “engine” again. I think this invention is really very interesting and will be very useful and popular within few years. It is also very good for people, who thanks it don’t have to spend too much money for purchasing petrol, as well as for our environment which doesn’t suffer from huge amounts of exhalants and carbon dioxide flown into the air then. This solution is more effective, more clear, economical and more acceptable for drivers, but on the other hand, people probably have to pay much money when purchasing it. But this investment will come back relatively soon.

Also American General Motors belongs among the car producers who decided to use this technology for their cars. And they certainly decided very well. On Internet there is one web site where people can sign up in order to show and share their opinions and interest of possession such rechargeable car which is released in 2010. There are more than 33,000 such people, who want to and are capable and willing to purchase this car. Oh, I have forgotten. This mentioned car is Chevrolet Volt. This car was designed some time last year and I think people like it very much. Not only its sensibleness, consumption and eco-friendship, but also its design is a big temptation.

This vehicle should be a bit better than other traditional hybrids and it shouldn’t be as expensive while producers have claimed they don’t expect significant gains from the first generation of this car. I think there would be more “eco-friendly” inhabitants on our Earth when there was bigger possibility to purchase such vehicles, I mean when there was more acceptable price. But maybe once in the future…
