Up to this points it sounds extremely good, but not for corporations due to the limited ability to connect to their e-mail servers. That should not disappoint Google by much, because the revenue it is expected to come from mobile advertising considered to be much more profitable than those shown on PCs. Thanks to the Android platform, that I already presented in one of my older articles, Googleâs search engine and other services will be as easy to access from the cell phones as it is from the PC. G1 phones will be available in US only in T-Mobile stores (located in 21 cities) starting October 22 and in November will get on European market too. T-Mobile will sell even in other cities besides the 21, but the order can be made only on T-Mobile's Web site. The secret is that the cities with T-Mobile stores also have its faster, third-generation wireless data network, so it works much better. As everybody certainly knows, todayâs world and life is faster and faster by every day and people who are in the hurry usually donât have enough time to do some things. Several decades ago there was invented one special invention which these days helps people every day. Exactly, this invention is Internet.
In the beginning it was used only for purposes of US army and was very primitive to the contrary to this used nowadays. That time nobody believed it could be used by ordinary people at offices, homes or even on the walk. But now it is completely different. Millions or billions of people all over the world use it daily either for their work, for entertainment or for both. This is really very useful thing for everyone from every age group. But the most popular and used is probably among young people and teens. Most of them spend several hours daily behind the computers and have fun by playing games, chatting with friends from different parts of our planet, watching movies and videos, listening to music, sharing and downloading files, documents, photos, videos, musicâŚ
There are also many networking sites on Internet, because almost every country has special one and there are also some common. And those common networking sites are the most popular and consist of several millions of members from United States through Europe to Asia and Australia. The biggest competition is between two biggest such sites, MySpace and Facebook.
But MySpace is little bit different networking site from Facebook. It is probably more about networking in the base of common hobbies, or same favourite music, etc. There are several millions of members and about five million various bands which want to share their own music via Internet and make their band more popular this way.
And because MySpace wants to be better than Facebook, it has come with new feature named MySpace Music. MySpace signed the agreement with 4 gigantic music editors and with Amazon.com. So editors will offer music and members will be able to buy it via Amazon.com. I think this was good idea because people prefer to have digital music instead of classical, I mean that music on CDs. Falling demand is noticeable because you can see sales of CDs have got decreasing tendency as well as the profit of the sales which has decreased from $12 billion in 1999 to $5 billion this year.
People there, on MySpace are now allowed to add ten songs to their profile and share their most favourite music with others and add about 100 songs only for their own listening (without sharing with others). The concept is to allow members to listen to their favourite songs and interprets legally, what means they are also allowed to stream the music for some fee (it goes via Amazon.com) and transfer them from their computers to their mp3 players. The good thing here is that the next distribution of the song is unlimited. Neither the fee is high, so this makes MySpace Music a rival for Appleâs iTunes. The difference for now is an amount of songs provided by given sites. Of course there is much less choice in MySpace Music (approximately several thousands song) to contrary to iTunes with about 8.5 million songs.
The profit for MySpace as well as for Amazon.com and those 4 giants should come from selling songs and from advertisements and this should probably increase interest of legally acquired music and profits , too because this form will be, in my opinion, more acceptable, better and easier for listeners than purchasing CDs.
In my opinion MySpace Music can become more popular and acquire higher gains in the future. We will see soon because for now it is allowed only in United States but it is going to East Europe soonâŚ

Do you know how it would be to exist without mobile phones? Imagine that you could call your friends only from call box or by a phone which is placed at your home. Think about it, how it would be if there were no SMS, no MMS and other services that provide mobile operators. For me this is unimaginable. I do not need the newest type of mobile phone like iPhone or Google phone, but I use my mobile very often, because it help me in many things. I can arrange some meeting very quickly, I can communicate with people from other countries (mostly per SMS, because calling is too expensive), I can share videos, music and pictures with my friends and there are still more possibilities that I do not use. Many people want to own a mobile phone that is well equipped. That means that this kind of mobile phone has a wireless access to internet, GPS, touch display etc. Many people bought the newest iPhone from Apple, but there are still some disadvantages that users do not like. The biggest competition of iPhone should be a mobile phone from Google called G1. This phone uses software from Google, it has a big touch display, keyboard that you can eject, and you can use Google map, Google browser and other Google applications. T-Mobile in USA said that G1 should be available after October 22. T-Mobile wanted to limit the future users of this phone by maximum data transfer. It would be only 1GB per month. But there are users who operate with online videos and pictures daily and they could exceed this limit very quickly. So T-Mobile decided to remove the limit, because they want to provide high-speed data service in their 3G network.

Of course there have been many changes from the first video game introduction and nowadays games. The biggest new of this season is you can create your own game and your own characters in it. This can be really interesting and maybe also motivation for some people.
The company Sony Computer Entertainment and studio of development Media Molecule have been launching this very speciality, what means the way of sharing ideas and creative talents thanks to Sony playing console PlayStation 3. The game which can be created by almost anyone will join the market very soon. Its name is LittleBigPlanet. This game is truly intuitive in control and is full of intuitive tools which allow user to change their game as they like. So they can customize almost everything from characters to the levels of the gameplay.
This game is dedicated to four gamers and less. There was also a competition, 24-hour Game Jam at Parsons The New School for Design taking place last week. The competitors very differed from each other. Actually there were 19 teams of competitors (together more than 150 students) who were trying to achieve financial reward in value of $1,000. Ich mache gerne Photos. Ich mag das sehr. Ich weiß eigentlich nicht, wie das alles angefangen hat, vielleicht war das nur eine Art versteckter Vorliebe für Bilder, Farben und Licht, ich weiß nicht. Das Wesentliche aber ist, dass ich seit immer meinen eigenen Photoapparat haben wollte. Man kann sich also mein Glück vorstellen, wenn ich ihn tatsächlich bekommen habe. Ich kann mich an den Tag erinnern. Es war zum Weihnachten, im Jahr, wenn all die alten Apparate, in die man Filme reinlegen musste, langsam verschwanden. Es war das Jahr, wenn brandneue, hypermoderne und leicht bedienbare Photoapparate ( sehr schnell ) Stars auf dem photographischen Himmel wurden. Mein erster Apparat war eines der alten Modelle, eigentlich nichts Spezielles. Er war ziemlich groß, ein bisschen schwer und schaute nicht sehr attraktiv aus. Trotzdem liebte ich ihn. Ich nahm meinen Photoapparat überall mit. Ich machte Photos von Bäumen, Wolken, Tieren, ich machte Photos zu Hause, ich brachte meinen Photoapparat aber auch auf jedes einziges Konzert oder Festival, auf dem ich war, mit! Es war eine wunderbare Zeit und ich glaubte, das Gefühl würde für immer dauern. Meine Augen sahen ein Motiv und mein Photoapparat fing das Motiv, dieses eine Moment und die Atmosphäre im Bild auf. Wir waren ein wirklich gutes Team, bis mein Freund ein bisschen älter wurde. Ich hatte ständig viele Ideen, viele Objekte, die ich photographieren wollte, mein Apparat schaffte es aber nicht mehr, das Moment aufzufangen. Die Ära von Digitalkameras hat bereits angefangen. Marken wie Canon, Sony, Konica Minolta usw. fingen an, ihre eigenen Kameras herzustellen. Unglaubliche Zahlen von diesen technischen Wundern erschienen auf dem Markt. Und die Menschen waren verrückt danach. Sie sahen schöne, moderne, leichte Kameras, die bessere Photos machen, die sie noch vor ihrer Entwicklung sehen konnten. Die alten Apparate waren für nichts tüchtig, zumindest für die Mehrheit der gewöhnlichen Sterblichen. Jedoch ist der romantische Charakter von den alten Typen nicht verschwunden. Und viele Photographen kehrten zu ihren alten Kameras zurück. Nicht weil sie sentimental wären, sondern aufgrund der Qualität des Photos. Das ist der Grund, warum ein weiterer Schritt von Kameramachern zu einem anderen Ziel führte - eine solche Digitalkamera zu machen, mit der man Photos gleicher Qualität machen konnte. Heutzutage ist der Markt voll von solchen Geräten. Es ist wirklich die Qual der Wahl, bis man sich für eines davon entscheidet. Die Hersteller machen es ständig noch schwieriger, da es jede Woche eine neue Kamera gibt mit allem rund herum. Dieses Mal kam Leica, kleiner aber prestigereicher deutscher Hersteller, mit der weltweit "schnellsten" Linse für stille Kameras. Diese Noctilux-Linse sollte eine Blende Nummer 0,95 haben, die fähig sein sollte, um 11% mehr Licht fangen zu können als die älteren Versionen der Linse. Was heißt das? Man kann in schlechten Lichtbedingungen Photos machen, die trotzdem in hoher Qualität sein werden. Man kann also Photos auf Festivalen, Konzerten und überall anders, wo es nicht sehr viel Licht gibt, machen. Allerdings sind 11% nicht so viel und der Unterschied zwischen der neuen Linse und den Linsen vorher ist schwer zu erkennen. Es ist also Ihre Entscheidung, ob Sie zurück zu Ihrer alten Version kehren oder Sie lieber ein "Pro-Photographer" mit einer Kameralinse werden, die ungefähr 10 000 Dollar kostet.

Können Sie sich die Kraft eines Hurrikans vorstellen? Nie in meinem Leben habe ich einen Hurrikan erlebt. Aber ich weiß, dass diese Art Naturkatastrophe sehr gefährlich ist und sie das Leben der Menschen ändert. Der letzte ernste Hurrikan war Hurrikan Ike. Er entstand an der Afrikaküste Ende August und am 1. September entwickelte er sich z einem tropischen Sturm. Ike war der fünfte Hurrikan in der Saison 2008. Am 4. September erreichte die Windgeschwindigkeit 233 km pro Stunde. Er verursachte viele Schäden im Wert nahezu 30 Milliarden Dollar. Die Auswirkungen des Hurrikans waren riesig, da Ike ein großes Gebiet in den Vereinigten Staaten zerstörte. Er bewegte sich über Bahama Inseln, Kuba, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas und Ohio. Viele Menschen mussten evakuiiert werden und viele Bürger starben. Der Hurrikan beschädigte viele Häuser und vernichtete die Ernte. In Texas wurden viele Erdölraffinerien geschlossen. Das führte zu einer Preissteigerung von Benzin, Heizöl und Erdgas. Mehrere Gebiete in Illinois und Indiana waren überflutet; der starke Wind zerstörte viele Gebäude und Bäume. Einige Flughäfen musste aufgrund von Stromausfall geschlossen werden. Es kam auch zu dem weitgehendsten Internetausfall seit dem Jahre 2003. August 2003 ist bekannt für den Gesamtausfall im Nordosten, der Stromausfall im Nordosten und Mittelwesten von Vereinigten Staaten bedeutete. Viele Leute blieben ohne Internetverbindung, ich glaube aber, Internet war das letzte, woran die Leute dachten. Der Hurrikan verursachte ernsthafte Schäden und viele Menschen verloren ihr Zuhause. Hurrikan Ike wütete zwei Wochen lang.

Laut der prestigereichen amerikanischen Presseagentur Reuters haben Google und General Electric Co. vor, eine Pressekonferenz über ein unspezifiziertes Projekt über Energie, Energiepläne und wahrscheinlich auch Energiesparen abzuhalten. Die Erklärung wurde am Mittwoch gemacht.
Google ist ein Internetführer, der in der Gegenwart seinen 10-ten Geburtstag feiert. General Electric Co. ist ein amerikanisches Konglomerat.
Der Ankündigung nach werden an der Konferenz Vorsitzender von General Electrics Jeff Immelt, der im Unternehmen auch als Geschäftsführer tätig ist, und der Mann Nummer 1 von Google, sein Geschäftsführer Eric Shmidt teilnehmen. Die Konferenz fängt am 11:20 PDT an. Alle weiteren Details werdeb geheim gehalten und keiner weiß, warum der Zeitpunkt gerade so und offenbar sehr wichtig ist. Die Konferenz wird aber wahrscheinlich auf das amerikanische Energieproblem abzielen. Wir werden die Situation ständig im Augenmerk halten, weil, wenn es da keine interessanten Themen für eine Diskussion gäbe, würden an der Konferenz keine so großen Firmenpersönlichkeiten teilnehmen.
Das Thema Energie ist für alle eine Diskussionsherausforderung - und dazu noch, wenn man ein bedeutender Mann ist, ist man, sagen wir mal, verpflichtet, darüber zu sprechen und einige Schritte zu unternehmen. Es ist super, dass alle helfen wollen, es ist super, dass wir darüber sprechen - nicht wie in der Vergangenheit - man sollte aber eines nicht vergessen - Worte vergehen mit der Zeit, die Taten bleiben. Vyhľadávací portál VideoSurf, verejne predstavený na včerajšej konferencii blogu Tech Crunch by mohol do sveta webovských videí priniesť osviežujúcu zmenu. Veď to sami poznáte – Youtube, Google videá – zadáte tému, napríklad: trenky Brada Pitta a výsledky prekypujú miliónmi kubistických domácich videí, ktoré o úbohom Pittovi ani nechyrovali. Takže ostáva zopár možnosti, 1. pomaly sa preklikať priamo džungľou uploadovaných výtvorov alebo 2. zmeniť kľúčové slová a zamerať sa napríklad na inú časť oblečenia slávneho Jolie manžela.
To zaberie nejaký ten čas – nemyslíte?
Stratégia VideoSurf-u je založená doslova na ' nazeraní priamo dovnútra videa' a rozoznávaní jeho skutočného obsahu. Teda, či hľadám Pitta, alebo akčnú umelkyňu Abramovičovú, vnútorné skeny VideoSurf-u začnú okamžite prehľadávať relevantné videá, na ktorých sa tvár, postava, či požadovaná veta nachádza. VideoSurf je schopný z 30 minútovej talkshow extrahovať dve alebo tri vety, ktoré potrebujete. Zaujímavý prístup.
Otcom myšlienky je bývalý inžinier spoločnosti Yahoo, Lior Delgo. Problematikou vyhľadávačov sa zaoberá už dlhé roky, veď práve jeho projekt Fare Chase ho v roku 2004 dostal do svetovej korporácie. Po dvoch rokoch spoločnosť opustil a založil VideoSurf. Oficiálne zdroje tvrdia, že portál doteraz rezonuje v relatívne pozititívnych ohlasoch. Medzi jeho finančnými sponzormi sa nachádza viacero mediálne, či politicky aktivizovaných ľudím napríklad zástanca zelenej politiky – Al Gore.
Avšak nie všetko na VideoSurf-e ide tak ľahko. Stránka si od vás vyžiada emailovú adresu a potom už len čakáte na pozvánku. A to je ten problém. Sama som zo zvedavosti poskytla uvedený údaj a ako sa vraví, čakaj až naprší a uschne. Pozvánka už počas niekoľkých hodín, nie a nie prísť.
VideoSurf, ako ho Delgo popísal legálne sťahuje milióny videí z verejných portálov – napríklad YouTube, Hulu... Samostatne ich prezerá, popisuje a triedi do kategórií, čím sa dostávame k ďalšiemu rozdielu medzi týmito vyhľadávačmi. VideoSurf disponuje akýmsi katalógom videí, zatiaľ čo vyhľadávanie na najpopulárnejšom YouTube funguje o dosť voľnejšie.
Kategorizácia by mohla portálu priniesť väčšiu systematickosť, otázkou však ostáva relevantnosť a miera zaradenia videa medzi tú, ktorú kategóriu.
Osobne by som tento špiónsky web rada čo najskôr vyskúšala. Problémom ostáva ten večný rozdiel medzi teóriou a realitou. Pozvánky nikde a dokonca všetky YouTube videá o VideoSurfe boli údajne stiahnuté užívateľom - paráda.

Die meisten von denen haben jeden Tag viel zu tun und daher suchen sie etwas, das ihnen helfen würde, ihren Zeitplan möglichst gut zu gestalten, damit sie immer zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort wären und das ihr Leben leichter machen würde. Also dann tauchten Investoren auf mit der ausgezeichneten Vorstellung eines Handys.
Vor einigen Jahren waren Handys sehr groß, unpraktisch und auch sehr teuer, daher konnten sich die Kunden ein solches Ding nicht leisten. Aber dank der Mikrotechnologie und anderer Forschungen wurden Handys ein Teil des Alltagslebens von fast jeder Person in der entwickelten Welt. In bestimmten Teilen der Welt werden sie mehr benutzt als in anderen Teilen, auf jeden Fall ist diese Bequemlichkeit ein Zeichen des modernen und schnellen Lebens in Eile. Handys ermöglichen ihren Benutzern, ihre Zeit besser zu organisieren und bereits gefällte Entscheidungen zu ändern, sodass sie anderen Menschen über die Änderung einfach Bescheid sagen können.

In den Vereinigten Staaten werden aber zurzeit vier landesgrößte Anbieter von kabellosen Netzwerken der Schließung eines solchen Vertrags verdächtigt. Laut eines Schlüsselmitglieds des Rechtsausschusses des Senats sollen sie bedeutend Gebühren und Preise von gesendeten und empfangenen Textmitteilungen erhöht haben.
Dieses Schlüsselmitglied namens Kohl verschickte an alle vier Anbieter von kabellosen Netzwerken einen Brief, um ihnen eine Gelegenheit zu geben, ihre Einstellung zu dieser Situation zu erklären. Man erwartet jetz ihre Stellungnahmen...

Čakanie na peniaze je vždy viac ako nudné a rozčuľujúce. Človek si nemôže nič kúpiť, ísť von s priateľmi na kávu či pivo, nemôže ísť do kina a cíti sa ako otrok svojich peňazí. Určujú, čo človek môže a nemôže robiť. A to dokáže byť dosť otravné, však? Problém je, že sme si na ne príliš zvykli a máme pocit, že bez nich nemôžeme žiť. Peniaze nám umožňujú vlastniť a ponechať si materiálne veci. Preto nie je vôbec prekvapujúce, že ľudia radšej minú svoje peniaze na technické novinky, oblečenie a všelijaké maličkosti, než na jedlo alebo benzín. Akoby nás nejaká vec, ktorú môžme mať a ukázať iným, urobila šťastnejšími a sociálne dôležitejšími. Koho zaujíma, či máme dosť peňazí na plyn alebo benzín, ktorých ceny neustále narastajú, koho zaujíma, či jeme slaninu alebo prvotriednu šunku alebo nejakú vákuovo balenú salámu z Tesca. Dôležité je urobiť si radosť a hoci by to dokázala aj chuť nejakej super šunky, za pár minút sa rozplynie. Čo tak napríklad nový počítač alebo telka? Prirodzene nám zaručia viac zábavy a oddychu a zaručene nám tento pocit vydrží dlhšie ako sokojnosť po nedeľnajšom obede. A to je ono! Sme schopní zaplatiť viac za zábavu skôr ako za jedlo alebo niečo, čo by nás niekam vzalo. Vidím to sama na sebe. Aj keď nemám peňazí na rozhadzovanie a radšej by som ich mala šetriť ako míňať ich na nejaké hovadinky, vždy si kúpim niečo, čo mi zlepší deň. Nepam§tám si presne, koľkokrát som to už spravila, ale som si istá, že to bolo viac ako raz. Minulý mesiac, keď som ledva mala čo jesť, som sa rozhodla kúpiť si krásny oranžový lak na nechty. A aj keď to možno znie divne, spravilo ma to v ten deň naozaj šťastnou a ten pocit mám vždy, keď ho mám na nechtoch. To isté sa dá povedať o ostatných. Hospodárstvo sa topí v problémoch, veľa firiem sa obáva globálneho spomalenia rozvoja, zvyšovania cien palív atď. Dokonca aj televízny trh sa triasol od strachu, že zákazníci stratia svoj predošlý apetít. Počas obdobia horšej ekonomiky a utiahnutejších rozpočtov sú ľudia síce citlivejší, ale aj tak stále nakupujú tovar. Výrobky, ktoré ich spravia šťastnejšími a ktoré im trochu skrášlia život. Ako odhaľujú štatistiky, zákazníci s menším rozpočtom nekupujú treťotriedne značky výrobkov. Nakupujú menej, za to stále rovnakú značku elektroniky napríklad. Čo to teda znamená? Poviem vám. Znamená to, že ľudia poznajú hodnotu peňazí, ale v tomto smutnom a pomaly bankrotujúcom svete radšej uprednostnia hodnotu zábavy.

Digi lovers have something big to look forward to! A group of companies from the media industry announced its plan to create a digital world. In that world, video devices and content websites will ‘live’ together absolutely harmonically, and also consumers will be able to securely store their digital content and access it whenever and wherever.
Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem (or shortened simply DECE) is the name of the group of Hollywood studios, service providers, retailers as well as consumer electronics and information technology companies, which is now trying to form a uniform digital media experience. DECE is working hard but will not say any more details until January. In January, there will be the Consumer Electronics Show and more detailed information will be given about the project.
According to the president of the mentioned group, Mitch Singer, the plan is to call for interoperability of websites and devices and also usage of rules allowing consumers to copy content into household playback devices and to burn the content to physical media.
Singer said that providing customers a rights locker or a virtual library where consumers’ digital video buys would be stored for recovery in a similar way to accessing an email account is a part of the plan too.
A special unique logo will be designed for the group and put on products and websites, so the consumers will recognize immediately that the services and products are compatible with the standards of DECE.
Singer also said that they will “be developing a specification that services and device makers can license. They can use the logo to associate their device, knowing that when the consumer goes to buy the content, they know it will play.”

Na trh prichádza najmenší a najľahší fotografický kompakt. Spoločnosť Matsushita alebo aj, pokiaľ je vám to bližšie Pansonic takmer bleskovo odpovedala na rukavicu, ktorú elektronickému priemyslu minulý týždeň opätovne hodil Steve Jobs so svojím iPod Nanom.
Zmenšovanie, zľahčovanie súčiastok a technológii sa nevyhlo ani svetu 'falošných zrkadloviek', ktoré, na rozdiel od obyčajných digitálov, poskytujú relatívne vysokokvalitné fotografie avšak často ostávajú v úzadí pre svoju váhu a rozmery.
Ťažko uveriť, že japonská Matsushita odštartovala na domácom trhu presne pred 90 rokmi. Jej prvým výrobkom vtedy bolo bicyklové svietidlo. Odvtedy napredujúca spoločnosť rozšírila ponuku a služby, ktoré predávala pod rozličnými značkami. Jednou z nich je aj, azda najznámejší Pannasonic. Matsushita však vyrába súčiastky pre Apple, poskytuje služby do domácností a predáva technológie. Korporácia by však prvým októbrom mala všetky svoje produkty natrvalo zjednotiť pod, už spomínaným Panasonicom.
Avšak vráťme sa späť k najmenšiemu kompaktu. DMC – G1 je nasmerovaný najmä ženskému klientovi, ktorý vyžaduje kvalitu, ľahkú manipuláciu a neobmedzený transport. DMC nepresahuje dĺžku 124 mm, výšku 83,6 mm a hĺbku neuveriteľných 45,2 mm. Váhou nepresahuje pohár malého piva (380g) – ako sme sa dozvedeli z internetového servera Yahoo. Okrem týchto, nepochybne zaujímavých informácii, DMC spája ešte niekoľko užitočných funkcií. K dispozícii je samozrejme živý vyhľadávačik, uhlovo voľne nastaviteľný LCD monitor a neustále živé premietanie. Software iA (inteligenté Auto, ktoré nám len tak nenápadne pripomína...) zasa efektívne spája Inteligentnú ISO kontrolu s tvárovým detektorom, Inteligentným výberom scén, režimov a expozícií.
Už len z prečítania toľkých inteligentných vecí, pravdepodobne zmúdriem. Ale ak by som to mala vysvetliť 'po lopate', teda stručne a jasne, dalo by sa povedať, že je to balans medzi kvalitou snímkou a jednoduchosťou ovládania.
Príjemnou, hoci nie kľúčovou črtou je taktiež voliteľný farebný dizajn samotného fotoaparátu. Telá DMC – G1 variujú medzi matnou tmavomodrou, ušľachtilou červenou a klasickou čiernou. Tento malý, nepochybne dizajnový zázrak by vás v Spojených štátoch mal výjsť najmenej 840 dolárov. Matsushita očakáva, že produkt vytvorí dôstojnú konkurenciu svetovým lídrom – Canon-u a Nikon-u. Jedno je isté, prvenstvo v produkcii digitálnej optiky naďalej ostáva japonskou záležitosťou.

V tom svete, video zariadenia a obsahové webové stránky budú „žiť“ spolu absolútne harmonicky a taktiež zákazníci budú mať možnosť bezpečne uskladňovať svoj digitálny obsah a mať k nemu prístup kedykoľvek a kdekoľvek na svete.
