One remembers tsunami alike caused by the most popular video browser Youtube. Google owned company has survived its ups and downs – it has become general secret of declining reliability and quality of its video content. Simply, when you are looking for something special, better to serach somewhere else. On the top of that there´s increasing amount of advertisment showing along with the desired video. With average quality of the play, watching another ad may be too disturbing. No wonderm the company was loosing the popularity. The business is business, however and Youtube reported recently it was going to pay its video contributors for the most popular videos. The! company still hasn´t mentioned any conditions of a deal „allowing earn some thousand dollars“ – it didn´t mention how often the video must be seen, the level of video quality, nor the business procedure of paying for such video. So, for now we know there will be possibility to pay back at least something for posted video. The low level of privacy and authorization was one of black bugs on Youtube site. But there are still questions – what does it mean to be popular video? According the most viewed videos belong JFK wedding party event and it was seen more than 10 million times. Well, from my point of view, getting rich on such method may be complicated. Unless I find out effective system enabling my video to be seen from hundreds of sites. Youtube said it was looking for „tens of thousands more partners“ except of traditional television and movie companies. The question is whether the company will be able to pay for its con! tent during the crisis time and later on.
