Mobile phones are becoming more than just phones past ten years. Including wi-fi element made them interactive device able to connect with the rest of the world. Mobile phones are able to substitute music players, they are able to stream videos, check and edit photos and much more.One was expecting TV shows to be available on mobile phones as well, but although this possibility exists under the label of MediaFlo (or FLO tv in the U.S.), so far it hasn't been a big catch for customers. This should be changed, according to Qualcomm Inc. that plan to include its FLO tv broadcasts into mobile phones. Right now there've been four phone models able to cooperate with TV feature ! . Both models were launched under AT&T and named “AT&T Mobile TV”. Its rival Verizon Wireless offers another two “V Cast Mobile TV”.What should be really new is the ability to record shows and watch them off-air. The payments for this service should be adjusted or customized. Each customer is paying only for TV station or specific TV show he wants, not for a package of stations with monthly payment.The company is also adding additional information service, enabling customers to get more information about the show or even buy an advertised product. Although this seem more like a long desired necessity, the new product is not solving the major problem – the wider distribution. As we know, iPhones or Blackberries are ruling the market and sit on the top of the most favorite smart phones. But they are not able to receive FLO TV service through Wi-fi. Qualcomm said it was about to release special device transforming the broadcast into Wi-fi signal. ! But it didn't specify any more information about the device, n! or it ha s mentioned when it would reach the market. Its original FLO TV devices will launch in May around Washinghton area.
