Yahoo is back in business! After almost a year of continuous speculations whether it will sell out to Microsoft or sign a deal with someone else, the American public corporation mostly known for its web portal and its email services, is now rolling out some new features that the CEOs are hoping to get back some of the users lost in favor of Google’s services like “gmail”. As the Internet is encouraging an environment of frivolity and instability with a permanent switch of trends, the main focus of all the Internet giants is to be always up to date with people’s desires. If they want to stay ! on top, they must reinvent themselves and come up with something new all the time. They must be in trends, hip, and taking into consideration that the latest buzz is surfing the social sites, the new target is linking in some way or another to the most frequented sites: Facebook and Twitter. All yahoo users can link their Facebook account to post personal updates on all Yahoo sites or show on Facebook what they are doing on Yahoo. Later this summer, they will be able to show on Yahoo! Inc updates from their Twitter’s accounts and by the end of the years Zynga Games will be added to the features. Apparently, Yahoo found the key of success: partnerships! Facebook, Microsoft, IAC/InterActiveCorp are helping Yahoo to get back its old days glory.
