HTC aims to break down Apple's monopoly

I was seeking for expression defining Apple policy. Despite the fact they are the biggest tech company in the world, having enormous yields from small devices sales, despite the fact they sell more a brand and design than the quality, one thing is missing. A place for a customer – recently I have gone through a profile of HTC Corp, one of Asian tech companies trying to establish next to such gianst as Apple, Microsoft, Google or Facebook. John Wang, HTC chief marketing officier expressed it this way: „This is the one and you are going to love it and if tou don't, there is something wrong with you“. Indeed, Apple strategy doesn't give a choice for thinking.! Customer gets the whole package of hardware, software and rarely thinks about effectivity and usefullness of such applications. And basically there is not chance to uninstall apps that were in the phone, for instance at the time of purchase. HTC, for instance being a company that spent years and years in the shadow risked and chose the other way – customization, personalization. Modest, yet proud strategy. Although they produce smartphones with touch screen and also keyboard, they offer different apps that are completely dependent on customer's taste and they are kind of quiet, they aim high. To become leaders – that however, will not success without proper marketing and advertising. For instance, U.S. market where they aim to is rather risky, only one in ten Americans knows the name of the company. But if they manage to promote themselves and point out their biggest advantage and that is rational and usefull yet, not arrogant strategy, products and attitud! e, then Apple may be facing another rival. The fact is Apple i! s anythi ng, but silent. But this monopoly may be exhausting for some customers and if HTC or any other company catch them, then the market will offer more possibilities, better prices and hopefully higher quality of products and also work conditions in factories where they are made.
