Strange situation can be seen on mobile phone market past weeks. Most of the companies have ran out of data chips and can´t produce their devices. And they are better to hurry up, since Apple´s iPhone is breaking selling records. Or it was supposed to be. All that marketing efforts, all emotions and grave cases from Chinese factories, this all seems to play role today. Apple that is currently the biggest consumer of global chips and „steals“ these components to its rivals, is still having troubles to place its iPhone 4 on the market and wastes preciois time and technology advance. The latest news came from China Unicom this weekend and the company di! dn´t have enough supply of Apple´s newest smartphone. According Wall Street Journal, the company received about 200,000 pre-orders this Saturday, the day the phone made its debut. The actual supply was about 40,000 devices. In 2009, Unicom reported it sold around 100,000 phones in six weeks, but with this pace it may be even earlier. But the production and distribution is soaring and while this makes almost a scandal over mighty Apple, the Californian company has declined as well as cited numbers as the whole story. Natalie Kerris, the company´s spokesman said there would me more phones available soon. Whether i tis true or not, it certainly lays down the shadow on real capacities and projections companies can create. Apple faced serious problems with suicidal workers in its iPod factories just after the company rised the demand on production. Workers claimed the conditions were unbearable. The company forced them to sign down the contract preventing them f! rom commiting a suicide.
