The Internet portal MySpace started to cooperate with the British BBC to launch another big project on the web. While it's chief rival Facebook is focused on messaging and networking, MySpace want to became more attractive focusing to video and music. MySpace TV, the video platform of MySpace will broadcast selected BBC programs including video clips, interviews with celebrity and classical series such as Robin Hood. The popular video-sharing site YouTube, powered by Google as well as the MySpace, will be allowed to share some excerpts from the programs and news. To share your favorite videos with friends and to copy it to your profile will be also possible. MySpace.com is very popular site, provide a lot of fun to millions people worldwide. Among the latest upgradings is adding a new category "MySpace News" with the plenty of information every day. It become more similar to websites such as Yahoo.com. It's no more the site where you can "only" meet your old or new friends and chat with them. It provides complete information, entertainment, search on web and much more. A cooperation of MySpace and BBC America will bring the comfort of all on one website via satellites also to Americans. "With the global nature of the deal this is a great opportunity to put the best shows from BBC in front of new audiences" said Simon Danker, director of digital media for BBC Worldwide in his statement.
