During 12 years history, Google has become one of five most influential tech companies in the world, but even in this state of being the world biggest searching engine it has its own bugs and customers should be aware of this. At first, Google seems to be everywhere and while its rivals are thinking of strategies how to chase it, the company has already participated on new space programs and softwares. But there have been several accusations in Europe as well as in the U.S. blaming Google for distorting search results. It's good to know that everything in on-line world can be manipulated. Even your searching results – surely you can recall typing a basic key word and ! then having more than 17,000 results in a second. But honestly, what result will you get? Majority of users will probably not go further than first two pages of links and never make it behind page ten. Here it comes to marketing – Google has been recently a subject of American investigation searching for breaking searching results, it was likely that Google was benefiting its own products and close companies. But in the world of marketing it is not anything unusual – companies are paying a lot of money to be first on the lists of searching requests. So another axiom has been distorted – Google doesn't always make the lists according number of visits or relevancy, it can be pure business and promotion that end up with high and fall of some Internet companies. So far Google's spokesman approved that the company was under investigation, but didn't make any further comment.But what comes out at the end of the story is the fact that if we feel we don't get rele! vant results, it'a always good to switch to another engine, pe! rhaps tr y some national or regional, in case we are searching for something closer.
